As you’ve probably already heard or read via my Twitter stream there are a number of BlackBerry giveaways I’ll be handing out while at ILUG this year. To make things interesting I thought it would be nice to space out the giveaways over 3 days and to select the winners based on their social media activity or rather, their participation in specific BlackBerry-related social media activities.
There are, of course, a couple of rules regarding the giveaways – it really wouldn’t be a giveaway without rules 
. First and most importantly you must be an ILUG attendee and present during the closing session on Friday in order to be awarded a giveaway. If you are not in attendance the giveaway will be given to the 2nd person in line or the 2nd runner up, and so on. Secondly, only one winner per conference – if you win on the first draw, your entry will be removed from all subsequent draws.
Now on to the fun stuff, the giveways…
Day 1: There are 2 giveaways to kick off day one at ILUG, a BlackBerry Music Stereo Gateway and a BlackBerry HS-700 Bluetooth Headset. > Follow me on Twitter to find out how to win!
Day 2: On day 2 we are kicking it up a notch by giving away a stylish BlackBerry Pearl 9105, so put your thinking caps on and get ready to be creative on Twitter. > Follow me on Twitter to find out how to win!
Day 3: On day 3 we are really heating up the conference by giving away a BlackBerry Torch 9800 and tapping into the creative nature of the attendees. For the Torch giveway, we are challenging your creativity by asking you to submit a 12 second video showcasing what You Love To Do with BlackBerry. For ease of access, the videos can either be directly uploaded to YouTube and the link share via Twitter and tagged with the following: #ILUG10, #BlackBerry, #BBLoveWhatYouDo (I’ll look to associate the video with my YouTube channel). Or you can find me at lunch, over the 3 Days, where I will have a camera set up and will be offering to take and upload the videos directly to my YouTube channel. Voting for the videos will be done by the ILUG organizers and will be announced with the other giveways during the closing session on Friday. Remember be creative and have fun, it’s BlackBerry after all.
