With development on the minds of many attending Lotusphere and questions swirling around new BlackBerry (and PlayBook) capabilities, we have introduced our first JumpStart session for Sunday, January 30 – JMPBB01 Developing with BlackBerry Webworks . To give you an overview of the BlackBerry JumpStart session, let me introduce Paul Steel (@LivingLifeBB) – Manager, Technical Services for Enterprise Accounts…
As those last few precious hours tick down before Lotusphere 2011, I like so many others attending, find myself working long into the night either tweaking a server configuration or putting those last finishing touches on a presentation. But in the end, all the hard work is worth it. Not only do you get the great feedback from those attending your sessions but you get the support of a great community – the Lotus Community. So remember, this is the time to reach across and introduce yourself to someone new or take part of an event that pushes you outside your normal circle or bubble, it’s Lotusphere after all – it’s time to join in and go yellow!
And while we are on the topic of community – remember, while you are taking the time to go through the agenda, figure out what events you’ll be attending and coordinating meeting points among your peers and new found friends, remember to take time out to say thank you to all the Sponsors, Partners and IBM Event Coordinators – because without them Lotusphere would just be a bunch of folks roaming around in yellow t-shirts.
(Sending out a special thanks to Julie H. our (RIM) fearless Events Coordinator – who goes above and beyond (way beyond in some cases) to manage, coordinate, juggle and support our BlackBerry efforts at Lotusphere.)
